Hannah Montana - Popping Candy w/Lollipop

Flix Candy

Imagings 3, Inc. (also called Flix Candy), purchased the exclusive rights to Disney's Hannah Montana copyrights. They make many Hannah Montana candies and came to us to produce a "lick and dip" popping candy packet, which has a 7 gram microphone lollipop and 4 grams of popping candy. Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development was directly involved from conception to finished product. We are currently working on other licensed products for this company, NOT just in popping candy, but in all areas of the confectionery industry.

Crayola Dippin' Poppin' Candy

Candyrific

Candi Riffic, licensee for Crayola, came to Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development and had us produce a Crayola candy product that featured our version of Poppin' Candy. Using the same popping candy that is used in Burstin' Bits, we changed the flavors and packaged the product in foil packaging that resembled a box of Crayola Crayons. Again, Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development supervised all aspects of this candy line; art, packaging, shipping, exporting/importing and delivery to their regional distribution warehouse.

Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream and
Baskin' Robins Ice Cream

The Barry Callebaut Company, the third largest chocolate manufacturer in the world, was using Pop Rocks, an expensive patient product, in their production line. Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development was given the task of finding a "popping candy" that has the same technology as Pop Rocks as an inclusion to use in their products.

We searched the world and found a Turkish company named Helix which offered second and third generation patents which are not in competition with pop rocks patents. The Helix product offered more power to the pop and came at a cheaper price. This "inclusion" is purchased in bulk and is currently in the market.

Licensed Hero Candy

Toy Biz

Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development was contracted by Toy Biz to develop a line of MARVEL COMICS Super Hero candy/toys. In this instance we were responsible for producing the candy and toy in its entirety. The line consisted of 6 items. The plastic toys were produced in China and the labeling was produced in Hong Kong. Toys and labels were then shipped to a PepsiCo facility in Mexico City. The gum and candy items were produced at one of PepsiCo's Sonrics factories located around Mexico City. We then had display boxes produced in Texas. All final items were then shipped to Monterey Mexico where final assembling, packaging and shipping were completed. With items being produced and assembled at various locations in Asia and North America, our dedication to logistics allowed us to supervise the importing and exporting of the completed items to Toy Biz national distribution facility located in El Paso, Texas.

Willy Wonka Xploder bar

Nestle

Nestle was looking for a "popping" candy to use in their new line; the Willy Wanka Xploder Bar. Helix brand of CO2 Popping Candy was produced and delivered to Nestle to be used as an inclusion in their new candy bar line.

Pop Chocolate Collection

Godiva

Godiva was looking for a popping candy that contained a specific amount of "pop" in a particular size that could be successfully added as an inclusion to their new high end box chocolate line. With specific requirements requested, we went to Helix and sourced out the item, secured export from Turkey(EU), shipping, importing and delivery to Godiva. Throughout the production process, we supervised all aspects of manufacturing. The finished product was used as an inclusion in Godiva's Pop Chocolate Collection.

Double Bubble, Pocket Wad, Superman / Incredible Hulk Printed Gum, Razzles

Fleer

Fleer came to Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development to have us manufacture these popular candy lines using our facilities that ensured superior quality and timely delivery. These four (4) items were produced in Mexico City at various PepsiCo factories. All aspects of design, production, packaging, and shipping to Fleer Distribution warehouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were supervised by both Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development and PepsiCo International.

Impact Confections

Impact Confections was looking to produce five (5) new candy items to add to their growing production line. With our contacts and dedication to timelines, quality and logistics, they came to us.

Sno Cone Pops

This item had various components to it, not to mention a packaging challenge. The soft plastic cone and hard plastic cover was produced in China while the labeling was produced in Hong Kong. Both items were then shipped to China where the liquid center and lolly pop top were combined to create the final product. Timing on this order was crucial as the candy could not be produced until the actual candy containers were delivered. The soft "cone" that contained the liquid candy presented a packaging issue as any pressure applied to the "cone" could cause the liquid candy to spill out. By using perforated inner boxes and a unique molded plastic cover, shipping was successful.

Sidewalk Chalk Bubble Gum

The candy item was developed, produced and packaged in Win Brothers factory located in China. From concept to completion, we supervised the production line, packaging, shipping and delivery.

Bubble Gum Crayons

This particular item was produced in its entirety by Win Brothers Factory in China. Concept, development, production, labeling, and packaging was supervised by Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development. We also ran the logistics of shipping, importing/exporting, and delivery.

Chocolate Poppers

This unique item used a new technology to infuse popping candy inside of a chocolate coated crunchy candy. We secured development from Heilliks Candy in Turkey(EU) and produced the item. We used a humidity proof foil packaging that kept the product fresh and ready to pop. The production line from manufacturing to final delivery was supervised by Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Burstin' Bits

This is Impact Confections answer to Pop Rocks. Produced by Heilliks in Turkey, foil packaging, shipping, exporting/importing and delivery was supervised by Candy Builders: Candy & Gum Development.

All five (5) candy lines were delivered to Impact Confections distribution warehouse in Roswell, New Mexico.

Kid's Cuisine Lunches

ConAgra

ConAgra needed a dessert for their Kid's Cuisine lunches. We presented them with some ideas and gave them a variety of popping candy to add as the dessert. They selected two.

The first is a small, clear, 3 gram, cellophane packet with multi-colored popping candy, varying in sizes from 0.5mm - 4.5mm.

The second is a 9 gram packet of popping cereal balls. Roughly 8 corn puff-sized balls covered in a chocolate popping candy coating. The cereal balls can also be eaten as a regular cereal in milk. The popping usually lasts between 5-7 minutes.
